Dick grins at the camera, brushing a hand through his hair."Hello, everyone. I bring you news of another "hero" account. Thankfully, this one doesn't involve much damage, though there is reckless chemical releasing." He clears his throat, glancing down at the papers on his desk.
"Once again, we have the generosity of locals to thank for getting the story.It starts with a innocent,unknown boy taking a walk. At this moment, there's a group of gangsters apparently scouting the house of a person. They see the boy...and a opportunity.
They surprise him, shoving him against a wall as he's blinded by his own hoodie, and cowardly hold a gun against his forehead, apparently threatening the poor child.Then things get interesting.
A arrow is launched, knocking the weapon out of the thug's hand, and they look around, before apparently being addressed and looking up at the roof, before taking a oh so brave step back as one.
Unfortunately, they master their fear, and bind the boy before he can react,though he puts up a game struggle as more thugs appear. The mysterious hero is seemingly unperturbed, and launches a arrow that sends out a gas.
This affects not just the criminals, but also our victim,leaving them all disoriented."He frowns dissapprovingly, shaking his head."Reckless...But it
does do the trick, and our hero finally shows herself, if only to retreive the boy out of harm's way.Sadly, we didn't get too much detail on her, and she went back above the sight of the cameras.
The gas whittles the thugs down to just what was apparently the leader and a few others, though their wits seem to be affected, considering they only pull out melee weapons.The archer simply launches another another arrow, this one leaving a mark on the pavement as it explode,knocking the thugs out.
After this, she soon drops down, binding the gang and apparently calling up the police, before dissappearing yet again.The police appear, gathering up our would be muggers, and carts them off to their so richly deserved fate.
Now, we can't tell you what happened on the roof, but in a bit and after the police are gone, the boy climbs down,apparently heading home." The anchor sighs, glancing at the camera again."And there you have it. Baddies punished,"hero" not stepping forward, and victim safe. But, yet again, we are left with questions. Who is this mysterious hero?Why does she insist on using arrows? Does she intend to replace Green Arrow? Will this child be ok? Will he step forward with his side of the story? Ladies and Gentlemen, only time will tell. This is Dick Dashinerdly, wishing you to stay safe." He grins as the report fades out.
