Powers:
Pyrokinesis: Itazura has limited control over the element of fire. He can produce and direct it, however once it has been given its initial direction, he loses control of it. He uses this power offensively in two major ways.
The first is a fire blast that expands out of his hand, growing six feet tall and three feet long and wide, causing first degree burns to anyone caught up in it and causing anything with an ignition temperature equal to or lower than that of cloth to catch fire.
His second attack engulfs his fists in flames for one minute. Contact with another person while his hands are on fire will cause second degree burns and cause the combustion of materials similar to those that would be ignited by his fire blast.

Flight: Itazura is able to fly by producing blasts of fire downwards. Doing this allows him to reach a maximum height of 24 feet off of the ground and move at a top speed of 16 miles per hour. After one hour Itazura will be unable to continue to keep himself in the air and must land before he can continue flying.

Imbue: By focusing on an inanimate object for two seconds, Itazura can imbue fire into the object. This causes the object to heat up rapidly, causing burns when applied to human skin and igniting cloth and other clothing material.


Skills:
Training: Itazura has received some police training, mainly in the use of weapons such as batons and tasers. In addition, he has learned basic self-defense and can engage in simple hand-to-hand combat.


Weaknesses:
Water: While a light downpour isn’t enough to harm him, getting drenched in water will cause his fire powers to fail. The single exception to this is his imbue power, which will still work even when he is drenched.

Innocents: Itazura has a soft spot for innocent bystanders and can be put into an unfavorable position by someone threatening a civilian.

Last Resort: Itazura tries to hide the fact that he is a metahuman, and so he will tend to stay away from using his flashy powers unless the situation calls for it or there are very few witnesses around.

Personality:
When off-duty, Itazura tends to be a pretty quiet guy, spending most of his time either studying or hanging around by himself or with a small group of friends. A major exception to this is when he is arguing or debating with others, as he enjoys this activity greatly. He is willing to make new friends, however he also tends to wait for others to introduce themselves.

On-duty, Itazura becomes a rather different person. His main focus becomes keeping others safe. He will become very serious and focused and is not afraid to start or participate in a fight to protect innocent people or punish wrongdoers.

History: Itazura grew up in a rather normal home, with his mother working as a prosecuting attorney and his father as a police officer. While life started off normal for Itazura, it became a bit more complicated once metahumans started popping up around the city. This began to make his father’s job more difficult, as occasionally a metahuman would commit a crime, resulting in dangerous situations when the police attempted to arrest them.
Soon, and much to his father’s surprise, Itazura began to develop powers of his own. His father saw this as an opportunity to improve the force’s chances of stopping metahumans, and after clearing the idea with Itazura, his mother, and the police chief, started to train Itazura to work as a one-man unit dedicated to stopping metahuman threats.

Itazura sat at the café table, drinking a cup of coffee as he worked on some homework. The uninteresting event was interrupted by a man with a knife barging into the store. ”Everyone on the ground!” the man yelled. Itazura’s eyes narrowed as he reached into the pocket of his jacket and clutched the baton inside, closing his eyes to focus. ”I said get down! That includes you, kid”! the man called out as he faced Itazura.

The teen’s response was to stand up and face the man, showing him the badge in his left hand while the other gripped his baton. ”Drop the knife and this won’t have to get ugly.” His defiance appeared to amuse the perp. ”Ha ha, that’s cute. Where’d you get that badge, a cereal box? Ha!” the robber laughed at his own joke, a mistake he would soon regret. As the man laughed, Itazura took three steps towards him before whipping his knife arm with the flame-imbued baton. The man went from laughing to screaming in pain as Itazura then floored the man and attached a pair of handcuffs to his wrists before pulling out a phone. ”Hey dad, can you send a car down to the café? I’ve got a perp here who needs to be picked up.”
