On The Job (Moon) [SP]

Leon had gotten the job, a nice first step in his new life in Star City. He'd met the manager, Chris, shortly after the last incident he'd had at the club. He hadn't seen the girl since he'd been hired, though. He worked out a nice agreement, where Leon didn't get paid much but the manager let him crash there at night. A win-win for Leon and Chris. The manager pays less, and Leon gets a roof over his head. It's better than spending his money on rent, at least.
So today was his first day on the job, and Leon sat in a booth near the entrance with his feet up on a metal chair. The boss told him his job was to keep an eye on the girls and make sure they were comfortable. That, and get rid of anyone that drank too much. Easy enough, considering Leon's skills.

"I bet she'll flip out when she sees me though..." He said with a chuckle.

Yesterday was rather interesting, after getting into a verbal debate with some random guy, she promised him a lap dance if he could take on all 14 guys. Of course she knew he didn't stand a chance, so after evacuating everyone from the building, she watched the fight... well.. part of it.. Her roommate showed up and mostly likely saw her.. making it an awkward situation for everyone. Ryuu just left the scene, not waiting to see the outcome.
The next day, there were no dead bodies out side and she didn't see anything crazy on the news, so she just assumed that the guy skipped town. Ryuu came into work early and helped Charlie set up for Saturday night, with everyone thing that happened last night, however, they doubted there would be a lot of people coming in. "Oh yeah, I hired a new bouncer so you only have to worry about dancing now." He said lazily, heading back to his office, making Ryuu rolled her eyes.

The half dragon girl was already in outfit, walking past the entrance and towards the back room, she didn't even realize he was there.

Leon spotted the girl before she spotted him and smirked. He had a debt to settle. He watched as she got situated, then stood up, the metal chair sliding a bit across the ground before he made his way over to her with his hands in his pockets. "Hey there you. Remember me? The punk ass bitch?"
He stopped a few feet away from her with a rather smug smirk. If she looked close, she'd be able to tell that his shirt had a few rips in it from stray bullets. "You owe me a lap dance, don't you?"

He crossed his arms and planted his feet, still with his smug smirk. He glanced over to make sure that Chris was in the office, and not paying attention. Something the man seemed to do often.

As Ryuu was heading to check the other girls, she was stopped by the sound of a metal chair screech across the floor. She instantly turned her attention to it and her eyes went wide when she gasped. Currently, Ryuu felt VERY under dressed for this, the lack of clothes made her feel smaller, it was almost like his creepy eyes could see through her. The only thing she was very was a very short black dress with a matching black garter belt, her hair the usual dark purple color.
She approached him slowly, her heels clicking, and she crossed her arms. Ryuu inspected the holes in his shirt and couldn't help but laugh. "Awe man... that really is impressive.." She laughed, her demeanor changing since she found out he was the one hired. "You really took out all of them? And didn't get killed?"

He shrugged and rolled his eyes. "I told you I would. You had no faith." He said, then smirked again. "There was even some dude in a robot suit that was trying to cause trouble. I got Chris to agree that I did a good enough job for him to hire me. Thanks for the good word, by the way."
His words were dripping with sarcasm. She hadn't done much to help him, but it was lucky he was resourceful. He now had a place to stay and stable income. Star City was looking bright.

"Which means, the only debt left..." He started, looking like he was thinking about it. "Is that lap dance you promised me if I took out that gang. You're not on yet, right? Now would be the perfect time."

He looked around for a nice spot, trying to pick out the most secluded one.

He was very sarcastic when it came to the fight, and her putting in a good word for him. To be honest, Ryuu didn't think he survived and found no point in sharing his name. It was impressive enough that he took out all those guys... Even if Riot was there to help... But he couldn't be serious about the lap dance right? He had to be joking.
The girl laughed, thinking he was joking, however he did start looking around the bar... as if he was looking for a place or if he was looking out for someone.. "You're joking right?" Ryuu asked while raising an eyebrow, still chuckling from the thought.

Leon would look back at her with a brow raised as well. She thought he was joking? "I thought you were serious? You mean I fought those dudes for nothing?" His confusion would turn into a scowl pretty quickly. "You can't just go around promising lap dances then not delivering. That's rude in a few cultures. Most every culture, I think."
He crossed his arms, still looking annoyed. Technically fighting those guys had gotten him a job and a place to stay... but he wasn't gonna count that. He made that happen. She still owed him.

"I thought it was a nice gesture since you were going to run off and die!" Ryuu defended herself, hoping to shimmy this guy off. Yeah she wasn't being serious, but she did kind of feel bad. He did kind of kick ass because he thought he was going to get a lap dance, which was pretty bad ass. "Okay look.. I'm dancing soon anyways and giving lap dances to co workers is most likely frowned upon.." She said with a sigh, grabbing the bridge of her nose with her fingers. "If you somehow find me after hours...I'll.. consider it..." Ryuu teased with a wink, turning her heel and walking off to the back room. She had a long night ahead of her, and hopefully she'll be able to slip out of his site before the club closed.

Leon laughed a bit at her reply, happy that it wasn't exactly a no. She scurried off quickly though, and he made his way back to his post. He hadn't even gotten her name yet, something he was a little upset by. He had a pretty good feeling she was going to try to duck him when the club closed... but, for now, he'd worry more about making a good first impression on his boss.

Though one might think the club would be quite after having a shootout the night before, that theory didn't hold. In fact, they were more busy than usual. People heard about the club on the news reports and wanted to check it out. The place was busy nearly all night, and with the place being busy, Leon was busy. He had to kick out a few people that were too touchy, and a lot of people that were too drunk. One man even smashed a bottle over Leon's arm. He was escorted out with a black eye...

...but surely enough, the night did eventually end. Leon was rather exhausted, if he told the truth. He had planned on going back out tonight to try and make some actual money, considering that Chris only gave him 50 bucks for his work tonight. That's when he decided he'd try to find the girl, watching the staff exit.

Surprisingly, the club was very busy, Ryuu hadn't seen it this busy before. People were coming in left and right and she only heard several fights among with guests, which were all handled very quickly. Whether she wanted to admit it or not, she really did appreciate the new bouncer so that she had more time on the pole which meant more money for her. By the end up the night she had a nice stack of cash which she shoved in the inner pocket up her jacket, getting ready to leave.
Ryuu was casually making conversation, looking around the staff area to see if the new bouncer was there. He was most likely out front watching people, so she should be safe as she walked out the staff exit. She was even in the back of the group, and made sure her hood was up just in case as she walked, not seeing anyone around here. "Next time someone grabs me like that I'm going to chop off his hand." One of the girls said angrily, followed by Ryuu's laughter.

He spotted a pretty big group of the girls leaving through the staff exit, but couldn't make out the one he was looking for. He'd recognize that purple hair anywhere, he figured. Had she really run away? How lame, he thought as he stepped just outside the door in time to hear one of the girls comment about chopping someone's hand off. "Just call me over. I'll do it for ya." He promised with a wink.
The girl blushed but kept going, but Leon heard a familiar laugh. He spotted the girl with her hood up trying to slip away. "And look who's running off." He said with a laugh. He really wasn't surprised at all.

After her co worker made a joke, the bouncer from earlier joined in and made half of them giggle and half of them madly blush. Ryuu rolled her eyes, and looked at him when he called her out... Yeah.. she was running away.. but she wasn't going to admit that.. "What? A girl can't walk with a group of friends with her hood up?" She said dryly, turning her attention back to the girls. This might take a while and she didn't want to keep them waiting. "I'll catch up with you guys tomorrow." She told them while smiling, looking back at the bouncer.
"Why do you want this lap dance so badly!? Why don't you ask one of the other girls? They'd be more than happy to give you one!" Ryuu complained while pulling her hood off, letting her purple hair fall out in locks.

It seemed he had caught her running away, the way she lamely defended herself. The other girls were off, leaving the two alone. She asked him why he didn't just get a dance from one of the other girls and he smirked. That would be too easy, he thought to himself. "They don't seem to be as fun as you are." He answered back with a simple shrug.
He'd look up, noticing it was about to rain again and frown. He should get inside before it started getting wet out here. "Say, what's your name anyway? I never quite caught it."

He still wasn't giving it up, making Ryuu rolls her eyes. She'd look around and pat both of her sides before groaning, she'd forgotten her keys inside the staff area, something she needed to get inside her apartment. "They're a lot more experienced, I can tell you that." It was true... She was better at ripping into people's throats than dancing, but then again she did have amazing upper body strength due to fighting.
As Ryuu turned to go back inside, he said he never caught her name. "That's because I never gave it." Ryuu said sarcastically while heading towards the makeup area, looking for her keys anywhere. Where could they be?

She gave him the cold shoulder again, something he was starting to get accustomed to. She boasted for the other girls,, and he half paid attention. Maybe he'd have to actually give them a shot sometime. He followed her inside, looking around with her despite the fact that he had no idea what he was looking for. "My name is Leon." He said, despite the fact that she rudely didn't give her name.
"It'd be easier to work together if I had something to call you, you know?" He said, opening some drawers and looking for... whatever she was looking for. "Did you lose something?"

As she continued her search, the bouncer gave his name, Leon. She didn't really respond, due to the fact that she was going through drawer after drawer, letting out angry sighs after not finding anything. She didn't even hear jingling, but she did hear Leon's attempt at getting her name. "My name is Ryuu and I'm looking for my apartment keys." She sighed out, digging around for them more.
Outside the rain got heavier, pounding down on the roof, and even some distant thunder could be heard. As long as there wasn't any lightning Ryuu would be fine...

He made some progress, getting her name at least. "Ryuu? That doesn't sound like a name from around here..." He mused, searching for her keys a little longer. There would be a big white flash from the window as lightning stuck something in the distance. "Helluva storm."
He'd give up his search, falling into the booth by the staff door. It was designed for private dances, so it had room to lay down. "What do they look like? I saw a girl frantically grabbing keys before she left. Maybe she took them?"

Leon seemed more interested in her than he did with finding her keys, wondering if she was from around here. She did have a slight accent, but Ryuu worked hard to get rid of it from the time she moved to the US. "That's because I'm not." She said flatly, going through some of her work outfits just in case they got caught on there.
On top of the temperature dropping significantly, the storm outside was getting way worse and she still couldn't find her keys. Her phone battery was only at 20%, so if she didn't get home soon she'd be in trouble.

With another large flash of lighting, Ryuu jumped from the sudden loudness. "Well it's not a good night for flying.." She murmured, letting out a sigh and going out to the main area to look for them. Leon mentioned a girl grabbing keys quickly before running out the door, making Ryuu sigh. "There's only three keys on it and a little hello kitty key chain thingy." She told him, going over to other booths, bending over, and looking underneath the chairs.

He watched her running around looking for her keys, noting that her outfit left little to the imagination. When she jumped from the lightning, he stifled a laugh. For all her bravado, she was still a scardey cat at heart it seemed. Then she described his keys and he remembered them distinctly being taken... "I think I see them at the back, under that booth."
He lied, hoping to get her to bend over again. The girl had a nice butt, what could he say? He wondered if she had to stay if he'd be able to convince her to give him that dance... For some reason he doubted it. She didn't seem too into his game.

While she still was looking for her keys, Leon said he think he sees them underneath the booth across from them. Ryuu briskly walked over and looked, and then when she didn't see them and realized what position she was in, she let out a growl. The girl took off her left heel and chucked it at him, aiming right for his head. She didn't even hesitate to pull out the second one and throw it at him, now making her stand a whole three inches shorter. "Really!?!" She yelled at him, going towards the front door to walk home. "I'll just break into my own house" Ryuu hissed, opening the door and seeing the crazy thunderstorm with lighting striking every few seconds...
Letting out a sigh, she turned back around and stomped towards Leon, sticking out her hand waiting for him to give her her heels back.

Leon bit back his snickers as she crawled under the booth, her butt right in the air for him. A perfect view, really. Front row seats to the show. She seemed to catch onto his game, shouting and getting up. "Hey! I thought I saw them!" He said, dodging the shoe. Then she threw the other one and it bounced off his forehead. "Ow..." He mumbled, rubbing it like it really hurt.
She stormed off as if she was about to go out into that crazy weather, but quickly changed her mind. She came back, looking like an angry puppy as she held her hand out. Leon chuckled as he returned her heels to her. "Probably a safe bet. It's not good weather for flying, remember? What's that even mean?"

The first shoe missed, but the second one hit in dead on the forehead, giving Ryuu some sort of satisfaction. When she returned to him and waited for her shoes, Leon gave them without a hassle, letting Ryuu put each one on again. She was pretty short and loved wearing heels, it made her feel more powerful.
Leon repeated what she said about flying, making Ryuu raise an eyebrow. She hadn't meant for him to hear what she said, so to cover up what she said she did the perfect thing.. Tell him the truth. "Yeah... I can just sprout wings and fly." Ryuu said sarcastically, as if it was the most dumb thing she's ever heard. She then walked back over to the door and as soon as she opened it, a huge lighting bolt struck down across the street and lit the power line poll on fire. This caused the power to go out in the club, making her let out a loud groan. "You have got to be kidding me..."

He raised a brow at her answer, picturing the girl with wings. Her? Angelic? Not a chance. Maybe a nice pair of demon wings would suit her better. She'd been rather hostile since the moment he'd met her. Even after he took care of the thugs attacking the club. What a hassle.
She seemed to forget her first attempt at leaving and stomped back over to the door. She opened it just in time to see the lightning strike the pole across the street. The explosion was enough to make Leon cover his eyes. That was bright. Then... everything was dark. "Oh great..." He echoed her complaint.

"Now I'm stuck in the dark with someone who's already tried to attack me twice. Awesome. This day's going pretty well." He stood up, holding his arm in front of him. "Incinerate."

And like that, fire appeared, wrapping around his hand. It was a weak, consistent flame... but enough to shed some light. "So I guess we're a little stuck, aren't we?"

When he was upset by the fact that she attacked him twice, Ryuu laughed a bit before walking over to a booth and sitting down. She was glad that he wasn't happy to be in this situation, or if he was somewhat scared of her.
When the lights went out, he said something and his hand caught on fire, Ryuu gasped and approached it, holding her hands over it to gain some warmth. It was freezing in there and she only had a skimpy outfit which could be compared to lingerie. "Well at least you're good for something." Ryuu teased, hovering her hands over it. "A little stuck is an understatement." She said, rubbing her shoulders to gain more warmth. "My ideal Saturday night isn't spending it in this shit hole.."

Leon noticed that she was cold, mostly from her lack of clothes and a slight blue around her lips. He made the flames hotter, burning a little brighter. The heat didn't bother him anyway. "Shit hole? That's not very nice. Some of us live here, ya know?" He said, laying back. He'd scooch over to give her some room. "No need to stand there all uncomfortable. Don't worry, if I try to make a move on you there's literally a wall of fire between us."
